Tony Hua

I began wrestling at 10 years old and fell in love with the grappling arts. At 16 years old I trained wushu under Sifu Mendoza until I started college at the university of Iowa. At U of I, I began watching grappling tapes and training with a ragtag group of guys in the gym. All trough college we trained almost every night and competing in illegal underground fights. After college I moved to California in 2001 where I began training with Sensei Erik Paulson. In early 2000s I was fortunate to also train under Professor Chris Ponznick. In 2008 I continued my Jiu jitsu under Professor Bob Bass
